Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical problems accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Communicate with customers to understand their concerns, explain repair processes, and provide status updates.
- Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain inventory of parts and equipment, and ensure proper storage and organization.
- Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and support staff, to resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide training and support to customers on the use and maintenance of equipment as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and product developments through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
- GED or high school diploma.
- Completing an appropriate apprenticeship might be beneficial.
- In-depth understanding of HVAC systems and how they function.
- All tools and equipment required for HVAC installation and maintenance are familiar.
- Physical fitness and physical dexterity are also important.
- Follow-through on instructions.
- Customer service and communication abilities are important.
